An amazing read!

I loved David and Sarah’s story! It had plenty of emotion, action, great characters, witty banter, sizzling chemistry, and an interesting plot! I can’t wait to read more about the guys from Black Dawn!!

I loved David. He was a rock when a rock was needed. I loved that he was so stable. He is a fictional character and I felt safe just like everyone he met. Ms. O'Leary always gives us alpha males but David was so understated you just might miss what he can be. But Sarah didn't miss anything. When she first met David, it wasn't their time. But with danger around the corner and the man she had grown to love back in her life, she was determined to go for it and get her man. Although this story is short it is nevertheless complete. Ms. O'Leary gave us action almost from the get go. This story was well written and the characters fully developed. It is a roller coaster of action and emotion. I can't wait to see where Ms. O'Leary will take this new series.

This audiobook was an action adventure military romance on speed. It moved so fast, I never really felt a build up of suspense.

I thought David made a great hero. I felt some chemistry between David and Sara. There seemed to be all of these rapid fire scenarios. They began and ended so quickly, it didn't feel like I was getting the full story.

I did enjoy the narration. I would have liked more story, more background, more detail. Maybe this was a shorter intro to the series and more will be explained in a future book or books.

A great second chance romance with a backdrop of drama and action. David an army investigator and Sarah a nurse with Doctors without boarders, come together after an earthquake flattens a small country. Their emotional reunion takes place amidst the drama of recapturing some dangerous escaped prisoners. This book has lots of emotions.

I first read a shorter version of this story in the anthology "Cuffed & Claimed. I was thrilled to have the chance to read it again with more.
Earthquake! Major damage to an island country, one with a lot of corruption. Captain David of the Military Police finds himself placed in charge of rounding up escaped prisoners after the jail was damaged. Sarah arrives with 'Doctors without Borders' - a blast from his past. Their chemistry sizzled throughout this tale of action and drama involved in capturing these dangerous prisoners. I really enjoyed this well written story and highly recommend it.
