CIP: none.
Summary: An anthology of Scandinavian stories about girls, collected from writers from Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland.

Review: There is a wide variety of stories presented in this book. I found most of them to be quite dull. I'm not sure if this is a problem with translating out of the original language or if it stems from the wide timespan when the stories were covered: from the mid 1800's to the late 1900's. On the positive side, however, all the main characters are strong females!

Internet Bookwatch says: "a rich blending of classic and contemporary literature written for and about girls"
