✏️ Short Summary
A principled divorce lawyer risks everything when his boss’s daughter—now filing for divorce—returns for legal help and reignites the passion they once shared.

🧠 Review
Victor’s reputation as a by-the-book divorce specialist makes it all the more startling when he agrees to represent Nicole, his boss’s daughter.
They’d shared a scorching fling five years ago; she’s now in the midst of filing for divorce and her father insists Victor handle her case to prove his worth for partnership.

Their chemistry is undeniable, yet much of their reunion feels driven by lust more than genuine reconnection. Victor knowingly bends firm rules—jeopardising both his career and his integrity—to stand by Nicole. He “redeems” himself by confessing everything to his boss and helping Nicole navigate the ethical mess. They marry and find their HEA, but I felt the emotional reconciliation was a touch rushed.

As a spicy legal drama, Elastic Hearts entertains—though I’d have welcomed deeper exploration of Victor’s inner conflict between duty and desire.

FREAKING LOVED IT .. I mean god I was hooked and once it go going there as no stopping! Victor and Nicole were made for each other and the frustrating road they go down will not only have you yelling at the book but will have you smiling and falling in love with everything these two have!

Claire did it again and wrote a story that will leave you with one awesome book hangover!

2.5 stars. This one started out promising, but I dragged myself through the last 50% of it. It was frustrating to read, as all of the conflict in the last half of the book is predicated on the main characters inability to have an open and honest conversation. That and the weirdly elaborate Target scene that seemed more about fawning over target instead of moving the story along just kind caused me to check out of it.

Perfect end to one of the most enjoyable series of books.
I really enjoyed this book. Nicole and Victor's story was hot and so worthy of their characters.

I am a huge fan of Claire Contreras Hearts series and could not get enough of the first two books (Estelle/Oliver and Mia/Jenson) but unfortunately, Elastic Hearts was not able to pull at the emotions and create the characters I have come to enjoy from this series. While I felt Victor was well written and I enjoyed reading his POVs, I could not get into Nicole's POVs. I found her frustrating and difficult to like, which made it difficult to enjoy the entire book. I also had difficulty with getting invested in their relationship and did not feel the emotional pull like I did from the first two books. I often got bored while reading Nicole's POV and easily distracted by other things. For fans of the series, you do get to see characters that we have read about and find out more about how they are doing as couples.

I was so impatient for it, I kept refreshing Amazon... And ended up buying on Kobo, where it was available sooner, then on Amazon again, because Kobo's restrictions weren't to my liking and I wanted a comfortable reading experience for this book.

I was hooked. I loved the heroes, and I loved them together. Nicole and Victor were such great characters, and the banter and sexual tension were great. They took their time to really act on it though, more so than I'd have thought, thus it surprised me a bit.

It was so lovely to read about the whole gang as well ! Mia and Jensen are still one of my all-time favourite couples, but Nicole and Victor were awesome as well.

All in all, a really good romance. I totally loved it.
5 deserved stars. Thank you for this wonderful series, Claire Contreras ! Looking forward to your next novel !

Totally enjoyed this one..this series is so easy to follow and connect with. I love catching up with everyone. Always want more!!

The whole hearts series is great. I didn't connect as much to Victor & Nicole but it was still a great book. I do feel apart of the whole gang. I love reading standalones where characters are connected.

I kinda loved this divorce lawyer dynamic. It was forbidden but not so much so that it was wrong per se... Just not the right timing and such.

Anyways love Claire's writing and Nicole and Victor do not disappoint!!

I just completed the entire Hearts series. I'm not sure I've ever felt so invested in any other series. These books pulled me in and haven't let me go. I will absolutely have a book hangover!
