This was probably my least favourite of the series but I still loved it which shows how fantastic this series is!
If you are looking for a romantic, sexy and funny new adult romance then definitely give this series a read!

4.5 "GOALS" Stars

I really love this series and this book wasn't the exception I really, really enjoyed it even when Nicole and Victor were driving me crazy

But I have to admit that their chemistry was HOT and their banter was hilarious.

I have no doubt that Victor was a great lawyer because those arguments he delivered at the end my god they just melt my heart.

Love reading more about Estelle & Oliver and Mia and Jensen (<---the were my favorites)

Now for the million dollar question Claire... Do you plan to write about Marcus? because I for sure hope that you do

I tried hard to like these books with all high rating. The problem is while I liked the ideas and the storyline, the writing is really not good. It seems the author does not build the characters upfront, and They donѓ??t flow through the book. There are so much upS and down, and most of the time the appear very stupid people. They changed their mind and understanding every seconds. The characters are not consistent through the book.

The secondary characters change roles without any background. Author has potential but does a very sloppy job editing her own work.

Also In this specific book, I donѓ??t see anything special about Nicole. Just a superficial spoiled child than. So this very rich family can not afford a ticket to Argentina and she has to be so needy for a free trip. Soooooo inconsistent.

I felt the need to revisit my old friends and whilst I’d read Kaleidoscope, Torn and Paper and owned both paperback and ebook of Elastic I hadn’t read it. Time to get me some big dog Victor.

I was absolutely not disappointed. I want to wear the Victor tshirt! He’s just so manly! Swoon.

Victor and Nicole hooked up but he ended it when he realised that her being the daughter of his boss could damage his career. She goes away licking her wounds and straight into the arms of actor Gabriel Lake.

Five years on and Victor gets the job of representing Nicole in her divorce. Oooooohhhhh all the sparks and sexual tension! They know they shouldn’t. But....the temptation is too much.

It’s a lovely sexy, light read. Even has a glimpse of Jon Snow.

I have a kaleidoscope heart. I have a paper heart. I need a Victor tshirt to complete my set!

This is one of the most likable book couple I've read about in awhile. There could have maybe been a tad less angst(it felt drawn out just a bit too much IMO), but overall it was a great book.

I just decided to give up on this because I wasn't really feeling the story no matter how hard I tried to push myself to like it. As much as I wanted to finish Elastic Hearts, I just couldn't...

Elastic Hearts was probably my least favorite of the Hearts series. Claire's books are some of the few contemporaries that I've actually managed to sit through from beginning to end without getting pissed off at the romance or the main characters, but I think this might be the first exception I had with this author.

After completing Estelle and Mia's stories last year, I was beginning to wonder if we were even going to get Victor's happy ending. It was great to finally see him settle down since we've already seen everyone else in the gang get married and start a family.

The problem I had with this one was that it felt similar to Kaleidoscope Hearts but instead of the fell-in-love-with-my-best-friend's-little-sister storyline, we got the fell-in-love-with-the-boss's-daughter. Overall, the vibe I got while reading this was just really different. Not necessarily a bad different, just different. It lacked the emotional attachment I had with Kaleidoscope Hearts and Paper Hearts.

Aside from that, I didn't really like Nicole as much as I liked Estelle and Mia. Although she was going through this messy divorce, I didn't feel an inch of pity for her like I did with the other two girls. Maybe it was because paparazzi and celebrities were involved in the mix that took away from the reality and relatability that some readers might feel with the story.

Thirdly, I just didn't feel the spark between Victor and Nicole. To be honest, it seemed like they were horny for each other every second of the day but kept holding themselves back because of the divorce. Normally, I don't have a problem with that but there was just a lot of lovey dovey things being said about feeling so much about another person but not enough showing. I felt like their relationship was more physical than anything. Sure we get emotional development here and there but ehh I wasn't feeling it. I didn't feel the emotional connection between the two as much as I hoped I would.

Long story short, Elastic Hearts felt like just another typical romance that we all read about before but with a different title and different set of characters. It lacked the sentimentality I felt while reading Kaleidoscope Hearts and Paper Hearts. Aside from old characters being mentioned in the story, I probably never would've thought that this book was part of the same Hearts series that I fell in love with.

I'm sad to say that Elastic Hearts was a bit of a miss for me. I definitely loved the other two books but Elastic Hearts didn't even come close to how great Kaleidoscope Hearts and Paper Hearts were. :(

My friend told me before that I will like the 1st two installments of Hearts Series and when I heard about Elastic Hearts, I decided to start on it instead of Kaleidoscope Hearts and Paper Hearts.

This book was intense. I loved the concept of this story. A Divorce Lawyer who fell in love with his client who happened to be his boss’ daughter was a cliché concept but nonetheless it caught my attention. It was intense when it comes to their feelings for each other… it was hot because of the sexual tension between the two and yet they’re holding back because they can’t really fuck each other simply because there’s too much at risk.

Don’t get me wrong. This is an interesting read. It really caught my attention on the 1st few chapters of the book but I slowly lost my interest simply because I didn’t feel connected to the characters and to the book itself.

I was ready to give this 2 stars but I fell in love with the ending of the story…
It was good… but it wasn’t just for me. Maybe it would be different if I read the 1st 2 stories before drowning into this one… I might read this again… after the reading Kaleidoscope Hearts and Paper Hearts…

elastic hearts is the third and final book in the hearts series by contreras.
when starting this, i was worried: both the previous books, both characters featured had a ton of backstory, baggage and emotional kick. elastic hearts wasn't going to have any of that.
yes, victor and nicole hooked up a few times all those years ago. yes, once they found out who the other were they stopped and she got married to a famous celebrity. yes, now she's getting divorced and he so happens to be her divorce attorney. yes, they have a ton of tension, and it's the good kind. that doesn't have to mean anything, unless it does...
and it does!
both victor and nicole were good characters on their own. i liked them both, especially victor's very demanding and controlling side (especially for smut. yes.)
the plot was pretty interesting: divorce? check! publicity and press? yes! "partner" job promotion that you cannot risk losing? yes! lots and lots of tension? yes!
the plot was pretty good. minus the end, which i didn't like at all. in fact the ending lowered this to a 3.75. it was just repitive. both characters were being childish and weren't speaking or communicating like the adults they should've been. and i guess that's not bad if they resolved it soon but they didn't...like that time gap? not for me. and the "miscommunication" trope was used a few times in the ending which wasn't my fave.
that being said, the epilogue was cute. it was good. this whole series was really good!! would recommend if you want a friendgroup connectedish with good backstories and excellent writing!!

Okay, I LOVED the narrators!!! Made this story that much more enjoyable! loved!!!

This didn't hold the same feelings as Kaleidoscope Hearts or Paper Hearts, but it was a cute story.
And as always, I loved it when Estelle, Oliver, Mia, and Jensen popped up.
