The concept of this book is incredible. Being able to make a meal for someone so they can see their loved one back from the dead for one last time is so much fun and has a lot of range. Where the book lost me was in the last 1/3 and the ending. It makes sense given what we know about Kostya and his feelings/attitude, but I wanted more for him. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the advanced copy in exchange to read for my review.

the main character had a lot of nicknames, and it got a bit confusing keeping up with his nicknames along with other characters. The plot was interesting but ending felt a bit rushed and left some loose ends

Wow...I loved the concept of this. Something a bit unexpected and it was heavy, of course it was, it's a ghost story but love and food and ghosts are a story trifecta for me.
