This was an amazing first book for a series, you really get a feel for all the characters has you journey across space on this action packed adventure. Each character in this story has their own personality and special talent. They are a squad of social outcasts with sad backstories but don't think this a sad whinny tale it is a book full of laughs and sarcastic remarks that make it fun. I highly look forward to seeing how these characters progress and what some of the new twists could be (this book is full of adventure and twists)

BOOK COVER: 5 I love the cover, for a girl who only recently found a love for Si-Fi books I have a huge love for space.
RATING: PG this would be good for kids around the age of 10 provided they don't scare easily
OVERAL: I WANT MOOOOOOORE
FAVE CHARACTER: Kal he is amazing but I cant tell you how or it will ruin it. So I just suggest you read the book if not for anything else but for Kal.
WOULD I READ MORE FROM THESE AUTHORS: HELL YES
RECOMMEND: people who enjoy a good Si-Fi, or an adventure with people having to discovery not only what the hell is going on but truths hidden inside themselves.

I LOVED this book. It reminded me of Star Trek in the best possible way. Tyler, Cat, Scar, Finnian, Kal, and Auri are ultimate squad goals.
