I picked this one up purely because of the covers that the author shared in the Sweetgrass Author event. I wanted to know if the series was something I would like and find out if it was something I wanted to splurge on. Plus, it's been a few weeks since I read something so dark, so I couldn't wait to get into this one. It ended up being intense. The age gap was cringy in the beginning. Still, I was really curious about the reverse age gap, plus them being students/teachers. But I was hooked once the story started going about 20-ish% into the book and couldn't put it down. I was literally about to DNF it when I finally got hooked. There were so many LOL moments, but this one had a little of everything. We had the age gap, the student/teacher, the motorcycle club, plus even ex/small-town chaos. To the point that I could not wait to read the next book!

I had a hard time with this book. I Love MC romances and I only read this so I can continue the series. I am a teacher and I think that is why I could not get into this. This book would have been awesome if he was not her student. Also, a lot of the things that happened at the school outside of their romance were unbelievable. Police would not storm in and make a scene in the middle of a class. No teachers are smoking in their offices or on campus. The fact that she shared so much with her students was inappropriate they new about her ex husband and where she lived. The scene where she is touching herself in class with other students present was beyond disturbing.

ENG
cressinda isn't very loveable at the beginning of this book but king is regardless of his age truly a book boyfriend. it was cheesy at times but i do love this romance. only thing is that you really can see the development in giana's writing as the series progresses.

Loved the characters and their relationship? King was perfect and I loved Cressida.... but the student teacher thing simply does not work for me, lol. Anytime I was reminded of their roles I was weirded out. However, they did interact first outside of school and both of them are legally consenting adults, but :/
