Delightful. I wish Sebastian would expand this into a novel, but then she'd have to spell out all the mysterious and magical things she only hints at here.

This one was really fun and adds a nice splash of fantasy into this otherwise purely historical setting.

Love a good Murder Lady. Even better when she's got a supportive lesbian lover who doesn't mind the occasional lust for vengeance.

Somehow, Cat Sebastian managed to write short story (not a thing I usually enjoy), fill it full of magic where magic doesn’t belong (also a thing I don’t enjoy) and make it a damned delight. <3 <3

Sarah Turner, middle aged seamstress on vacation, plus a vigilante selkie. I mean... what more do you want? It's short and was the perfect little story to read before bedtime. I would gladly read more short stories about the adventures these two get up to.
