Not a bad book. Exciting at the start, then got a bit confused midway through with a lot of intertwining character things happening, then got more exciting towards the end. Enjoyed it but preferred ‘No One Saw A Thing’.
This was such a fun popcorn thriller! Quick read with a satisfying ending and plenty of twists I didn't see coming. Definitely going to read more Andrea Mara after this.

Listened to this on a car trip where I didn’t have time to find another option. It’s not horrible if you can get past the fact no mother (or anyone) would just blow off seeing multiple videos of a man coming out of their attic. Whaaat?!
*narration well done

The narrator’s voice really pulled me in right away. It had this quiet, unsettling way of telling the story that made the creepy parts hit harder. The suspense built slowly, which I liked because it felt real and kept me curious about what was going to happen next.
The story moved at a steady pace, never feeling rushed or like it was trying too hard to scare me. I found myself wanting to keep going, even when things were just quietly tense. That kind of slow-building feeling stayed with me even after I stopped listening.
There was a brief part with kids that I didn’t really connect with, but it didn’t ruin the story for me. Aside from that, the narration and the way the story unfolded made this an interesting and worth-it listen.
