This was fantastic. I finished it in the middle of sewing (audiobook) and was surprised that it had ended honestly I wanted more. I will take a short break before dance. But OMG it's been so long and now I have only one book left.

Леко мудна на моменти. Чудесни описания на случващото се, но липса на главните персонажи в историята. Не е като предните три тома, затова ми отне повече време да я прочета. Повече се фокусира върху случващото се в Кралски чертог, отколкото Вала и северът като цяло.
Definitely the lesser of the four books written so far. Real high points are the scenes with Jaime as he continues to take his place as one of my favorite characters - and also the best example of Martin's character depth. The unfortunate thing about this book is that since it is focused on primarily B-list characters, nothing seems to get accomplished. A few loose ends are tied up here and there, but there is no forward movement of the plot. It will be interesting to read the next book as it should occur concurrently to this one, but have much more effective characters. Still, every author is allowed a low point, I only wish that Martin's hadn't lasted 6 years...
A slog through Cersei's brain. I miss Daenerys and John. Hoping book 5 is better.
