Sansa is way more bearable now. I have no idea what Arya is doing but she seems to be getting by. Snow is mean now :( I refuse to believe she lost the sword and died. Wtf will happen to Cersei 😠idk she always seemed so untouchable. Once again my jaw dropped. I have no idea how this will end but I can understand why the last books haven't been written 💀

I would have liked this much more if I had been aware there was another book after. Reaching the end and seeing "continued in Dance of Dragons" was a surprise- unpleasant because I was eager to read the end, but great because now I get to look forward to reading another one.

Not quite as action packed as Storm of Swords but still a really enjoyable read. The cast of characters has been split up so we focus mainly on the characters in Kings Landing, Dorn & the Iron Islands which i enjoyed more than i thought i would. The political scheming is constant and kept me on the edge of my seat. This series has some of the best cast of characters I have ever read, they are so well developed and layered that even the ones that are not my favourite, I can't help but respect.
Martin had to really cut this book in two - Feast and Dance - because Feast is...the calm before the storm. It does not have the same action and excitement as its predecessors, but the last few chapters pulled me back.
I was hysterical.
I was hysterical.
A Storm of Swords had so many epic, jaw-dropping moments that I can't help but be a little disappointed by Feast. I just finished it and nothing really stands out for me. Nothing really happens in this book and I am left wondering how it occupied 1000 pages. I am absolutely looking forward to the rest of the series and to see how this book fits in the broader narrative. This book is meh but I still have high hopes for future books.
