I really enjoyed this book. It was a compelling utopian/dystopian story with well fleshed out and dynamic characters, engaging ideas and compelling twists. I’m really glad I followed the recommendation of my local bookstore and picked this one up.

Really enjoyed this book and could hardly put it down. Was like a breath of fresh air after reading Sarah J. Maas books for the better part of a year. The quality of the writing is so good. This particular book reminded me quite a bit of some of Blake Crouch’s work; I knew there was going to be a big plot twist coming near the end but I had no idea what it would be. Now that I understand what was happening all along, I’d like to re-read the book in order to appreciate it all over again.

The portrayal of women felt patronizing.
