Seeing Maki get her revenge makes me so happy. I'm kind of in shock at how powerful she was shown to be in this volume (and was damn near cheering as she). I have to commend Gege for incorporating so many complex and strong female characters into this series, since its something a lot of shonen series lack.
The first half of this volume was a bit confusing with the Culling Game being introduced, but the spotlight being turned on Maki made me forget my qualms. Another great edition!
