Interesting world and characters but it just felt like the characters were all just playing one big game of hide-and-seek and as far as the love interests go it was just one eternal “will he won’t he” and I’m just glad it’s over.

a disappointing 2 stars.
i’m just going to pretend this book isn’t part of this series. the plot was all over the place with gaping holes in it, everything that i wanted to happen just didn’t, and don’t get me started on tella and legend.
she gave him wayyy too many second chances, and that’s literally 85% of what the book was about: legend betrays tella, tella says she’s never letting herself fall for him again, even though we alllll know she will
