From the very first page, I was hooked. Shantel Tessier knows how to build a story that keeps you glued to the pages, and honestly? I wouldn’t have minded being Ryat’s chosen myself.

I am obsessed. I absolutely binged the rest of this series. This might be my favorite dark romance series of all time. The action and the spice. The drama and betrayals that I don’t see coming get me every time. I wish I could go to Barrington!

This was a spicy good time. I enjoy her writing style as she wove just enough plot that I didn't want to dnf this book and I was genuinely curious to see where it was going. I checked the time left on my audible app several times because I just knew it was about to conclude but then she’d throw in a twist or surprise and it would continue. I’ll be reading more by this author soon.
