I liked this but I didn’t fall in love and I’m gutted about it, maybe one day I’ll pick it back up. I loved all the sex scenes they were amazing but I just didn’t want to read anymore, hopefully eventually I’ll find the series but for £20 a book it’s definitely not worth it right now

This book was absolutely fantastic! There were so many times I wanted to scream and throw this book… mainly because Matt made Blakely feel so dirty and wrong for having kinks. The way Matt lied to and used her made me so mad. But Ryat also made me mad

I can absolutely see why dark romance lovers would enjoy this book. However, I just don’t feel like there is enough plot…. Or any plot really.
I am all for spicy, but I like a good story to go along with it.

3.75 I’d like to say that this book is a great example of why you return from soft DNF Books. I wasn’t in the right headspace to read it the first time but it got my attention this go round. It’s definitely dark, the ending was semi over the top, even for fiction but I was invested in the story. Docking points for the use of the c word and also the over usage of handcuff play. A couple times is fine but it was borderline excessive in this book.
