Not going to lie—this book gave me whiplash. It started off with all the mysterious, broody, dark vibes that had me hooked, but then it quickly spiraled into a sex-crazed, revenge-driven whirlwind. The main relationship honestly didn’t do it for me—I really can’t stand overly submissive female leads, so the heroine wasn’t my cup of tea. On top of that, the level of toxic masculinity was pretty over the top.
That being said, the pacing was quick, and the chaotic twists did keep me turning the pages. It’s messy, dark, and a little unhinged, but if you like fast-moving dark romance plots with plenty of spicy turns, this one might be up your alley.
