Realised i didn't rate this. Still will not be rating this. I personally, like some plot with my smut. Also.. i like some romance and chemistry in my dark ROMANCE. Instead all i got was the taste of cardboard.

Overall it was a great read. Some of it is very questions especially when it comes to the FMC and some of her desires, BUT I do like how the FMC and MMC ended up falling for one another. I couldn’t put this book down because of the MMC.

this book is definitely not for everyone, but this book was so special to me. i felt so seen while reading this. it has such amazing cnc rep and dives into the way that we so incredibly shamed for having these kinks/ fantasies. the shame we feel for having these desires runs so deep and it was so refreshing to read those feelings be talked about so openly. with every chapter i just felt more and more seen by blakey’s character and i loved to see ryat fully accept her, understand her, and celebrate her, especially after the way her ex reacted to her desires and the overall abusive way that he treated her. i feel so connected to blakely and im just thankful that i got to read this and that i live in a time where these stories are being written. if you have a cnc kink please read this, i promise it will not dissapoint. i was so so so obsessed with this world and how dark it was. it was addictive to read and THE PLOT TWIST WAS AMAZING!! i’m so excited to continue this series

I really did love this book - soo much smut but I thought the story was also very entertaining. I took off one star just because most of it was predictable- BUT there were a few scenes where I was shocked!
