The tv show is better than the book. It’s just not very well written. Clearly written by an amateur author.

Such an incredible book! It took me a while to get used to the shifting perspectives in the book, but once I did, I couldn’t put the book down. It was so well written and I cried at points of the book, knowing that this all happened to real people.

I’ve read quite a few books about the Holocaust and WW2 in general, but this audiobook brought it to life in a new way. It is an amazing story and very well-written as well. I highly recommend!
