I expected this to be similar to Alex’s Adventures in Numberland by Alex Bellos (which is 5 stars imo) but it was very different. This book definitely had a few fun facts but I didn’t enjoy how each page was a new topic so we never really got in depth background on anything. I also didn’t appreciate the super casual and mildly patronising writing style. I did learn a few cool things but I really had to force myself to finish the book.
