This book. My god. This book made me want to scream, made me want to tear my hair off, made me want to punch something. Feelings i haven't felt in a while.

It took me how many days to finish this one because Philippe's story is hitting close to home that i had to take a break every once in a while.

When the thing happened in the book it started raining and my god i almost had a break down. What a beautiful story. Thank you Philippe and Molly.

Though the prose is sparse, the author has an unparalleled ability to create a strong sense of place and a strong sense of passion through his words.

Captures the essence of first love well, as well as the experience if growing up LGBTQ+ in both a time where being so wasn't as widely accepted and a rural area with less exposure to others like you.

A beautiful novel.
