I feel like this series should've ended after the third book in all honesty, but I still enjoyed this book. It took a very different direction than the other 4 before it, and has now become a sort of murder-mystery ish. I like the switching between time frames, but the writing can be repetitive at times. If you liked the last books, I'd recommend reading.

Even in these technically unnecessary supplementary stories, Malorie Blackman's writing continues to be enthralling. I like that she is expanding the universe in this one, like having all those years to think just added more world building.

I think this has to be my favourite book so far out of the noughts and crosses series. I found Libby and Troy to be extremely relatable as a teen myself. Really well paced book. Definitely didn’t see a lot of the plot twist coming which i love.
