“You wanna know the difference between a mosquito and a lawyer? One is a blood-sucking parasite and the other is an insect.”

Tobey was really OOC in this book.

Even in these technically unnecessary supplementary stories, Malorie Blackman's writing continues to be enthralling. I like that she is expanding the universe in this one, like having all those years to think just added more world building.

I think this has to be my favourite book so far out of the noughts and crosses series. I found Libby and Troy to be extremely relatable as a teen myself. Really well paced book. Definitely didn’t see a lot of the plot twist coming which i love.
