An interesting take on the Rumplestiltskin myth. I liked the way the Jewish culture and experience was woven throughout the story. Despite the first person narrative, I was still left unsure that I really knew any of the characters deeply, and I'm not sure why that was. The world created was beautiful and detailed, and I was sorry to leave it when the story ended.

Writing: It was easy to understand but not super simple either. Some of the descriptions were a little hard to imagine.

Characters: The three main characters, Miryem, Wanda and Irina weren't giving off "not like other girls" vibes. They normal ordinary girls who showed immense bravery. But they could've had more of a personality

Pacing: was slow in the first half, could’ve been faster
