There’s just something about Rebecca Jenshak’s sports romances, you just find yourself not being able to put them down. I liked Dahlia and Felix, individually and as a couple. I appreciated how Felix kindly pushed Dahlia out of her comfort zone and got her to believe how fabulous she was. I will say while I am a sucker for fake dating the premise behind it for this book was weak. I still enjoyed the book anyways because Dahlia and Felix were cute and easy to root for.

Felix and Dahlia did not disappoint!

Felix is the super popular quarterback of the school, while Dahlia is shy and usually keeps to herself. This year she promises herself it'll be different! She will get out of her comfort zone and live. Dahlia frequents parties thanks to her roommates, but every time Felix tried to talk to her she closes up or runs away. Felix always gravitated towards her but thought this was a him problem, but then a video is leaked of Dahlia talking about Felix and how he actually does affect her!

Rumors start flying and Felix comes up with the idea to fake date for people to stop talking about Dahlia, while also introducing her to people so she can get out of her shell and be more comfortable talking to others. Soon, Felix finds himself in a situation where he isn't sure how to handle his feelings and how to keep the boundaries clear.

I loved seeing Dahlia become more confident in herself! The way Felix always stood by her, listened, cared, and truly wanted to hype her up had me swooning! Felix tried so hard to close himself off, but seeing him open up to Dahlia about the truth of his past had me so sad for him. Even though he was always the popular guy, he also had things he was struggling with and didn't have anyone to talk to about it. The way their relationship was so genuine and easygoing had me hooked!

Even though it took Felix awhile to get there and Dahlia to confess her feelings, it was all worth it in the end! I couldn't help but root for them the entire time. Really enjoyed this one and can't wait for more!
