read this book when i was younger and thought it was amazing, re read it now i’m older and i honestly don’t know why i thought that lol. don’t get me wrong i love a cliche story but you can definitely tell it came from wattpad, maybe if i could give 2.5 stars i would.
It's like a guilty pleasure read for me. I like Shelly though. This girl never let her boyfriend or crush to tell her what should she wear or do.
Now that I have finished the book. I have to say personally that, despite watching the movie first, the book is better once again. If you don’t like wattpad style books, then I will tell you this book won’t be for you. It is definitely a little cheesy and cliche, but I personally love it. I love the characters personalities a lot more in the book than I feel was expressed in the movie. I don’t feel the movie did complete justice to the book in some aspects, but in others I feel the movie was super good! I still enjoy both for sure, but I personally loved the book. For someone who wrote this at a young age I think this is very good, but I can understand why some people personally would not like it.
It pains me to say the low budget Netflix movie was better than this garbage fire.
This was a cute little book,
I made the mistake of watching the films before reading the books as I didn't know they were also in books. So unfortunately I found I enjoyed the films a lot more than the book.
But defiantly a cute little book and I'd recommend to anyone looking for a cute book related to a movie.

I don’t think I’ve ever felt this apathetic about a book before. While I didn’t hate this book, I certainly didn’t like it much either. My main problem is that there was nothing truly interesting or unique about this book. There was no interesting world building, no memorable vibes, and no truly standout plot events or plot line. Even though I wasn’t expecting anything revolutionary, I was expecting there to be at least more to the plot and some fun vibes, something I could have fun with. But there was none of either of those things; it was all just extremely bland and clichéd. I also didn’t really care much for most of the characters. I didn’t care for Elle and Noah; I felt nothing for them or their relationship because they were not very developed nor had interesting personalities (if any), and their relationship was built on nothing. Even when Noah changed, and was more romantic and comforting, I did not care, because it felt out of nowhere. While Lee certainly could have had so much more to him, I did like him more comparably, and the same goes for Rachel. I wish we could have heard from him, and see more into his and Rachel’s relationship, because both of those sound so much more interesting and lovely. What I really liked about this book, though, was that it was a nice thing to fall back on. When I didn’t feel like anything, it was there to provide me with semi-comforting nothingness. There were also times where I felt that the book was dragged out with nothing. Since there is nothing going on for most of the book, all the scenes felt longer than they needed to be, while also leaving me very bored. So, overall, there was pretty much nothing good about this book, and there could’ve been so much more to at least make it more fun and campy.
