Such a good book! I both read it and listened to the audiobook and I think that having dual narrators for the audio, upped the creepy factor!

I mean, the cover glows in the dark. Add to that, ghosts, an old house, and a murder or 3…I’m a fan.

solid ending saves otherwise unremarkable horror. curious to check our final girl though.

Maggie's whole life has shadowed by the book that her father wrote about the 20 days that her family lived in the "House of Horrors". She doesn't remember anything that happened in the house and her parents would never talk about it. She has the chance, 25 years later, to go to the house and try to get some answers. Did her father lie about their time there or has Maggie blocked out the horrifying experience?

Wow!

This was such a good book! Kept me guessing all throughout it as to what was actually going on, and then the major twist at the end had me floored!!! Highly recommend!
mysterious

This would be maybe a 3.5/5 for me. I liked the supernatural elements to this mystery/thriller, but the characters were pretty flat, as was the ending. I love a good twist, but this one felt overly contrived.
