Honestly such a well written book. I couldn’t stop (and couldn’t sleep) you were invested as soon as you started. Dark, twisty, horror, just well written and came together perfectly.

This is the second book I’ve read by RS and I have to say I did not love LED. It just was a let down. But I decided I’d give him another shot. And well, I’m glad I did!!

This one was amazing! It was creepy, ghostly and I was a bit creeped out reading it in the dark! I love the alternating between Maggie 25 years later (present day) and the alternate being the story of the “true” events of what happened then.

I will say I questioned so many things and so many people and didn’t know how it would end, I did guess a few things but I wouldn’t say it was predictable because I had a lot of guesses and I was unsure of any of them.

At some point it turned into a book that I literally couldn’t put down and I just had to know what happened next and I read the second half of the book in one day! (And I’m a slow reader y’all!)

I’m going to give this 4.5 stars but I’ll round to 5 just because the end.. while I did like the ending, I was still left with a question or two and felt like maybe some of it was a little too smoothed out. But all in all, loved it. And I definitely want to read more!

Probably a 4.5! The ending was so well-done and impressive. I really didn’t know the entire time how this was going to pan out.

But not to be THAT girl — I did find two typos …

Starting the year off strong with this one. Riley Sager never disappoints and this book had me questioning my theories the entire time I read. The ending threw me for a loop in the best possible way and I loved it. I would absolutely recommend this book!

Wow! What a book! I loved the supernatural twists that kept you wondering all the way to the end. And I didn't see the plot twist coming at all! I literally could not put this book down! It was that good it almost felt like a movie I was watching! Love love love Riley Sager, this was my second of his novels and I can't wait to read more. I've already added all of his books to my Amazon wishlist

Oh....my.... God!!! What a fricking fantastic book. The writing was incredible. And all the damn twists and turns. The pace was just right and kept you wanting to read to figure out what the hell was going on. I was anxious, on the edge of the seat of my chair the entire time! This was the perfect book for Halloween... intrigue, murder, paranormal events, ghosts, and people connected you had no idea.
You HAVE to read this book guys. I cant recommend it enough.
