What a surprisingly well done short story. Even though, I've read the other books a long time ago, it didn't matter for this short story. It was exciting and so nice to read and remember this world. Also helped me remember how good this authors writing is!

OMG I was hooked to this story! I started and finished it by the next day. I could not put it down lol. I loved reading about Lilith and Valeโs story in this. And to see both of their personal growths throughout this. I would definitely recommend reading this after the serpent and wings of night and before the 2nd book. Because the ending of the 1st book had me disappointed but now I need to go read the second to read more about Lilith and Vale( which Iโm sure is very little maybe) but I LOVE THEM THEY ARE SO CUTE!! Loved this novella!!
