I felt like this Novella didn’t give me enough information to form a strong connection with the characters. I felt like the story line could have been fleshed out more and the love story was rushed. I am keen to see where the story between Lilith and Vale goes from Book 2!

I cannot get enough of the Crown’s of Nyaxia world and this little novella was a beautiful standalone piece. The pacing was amazing, it never felt too slow, or too quick, like the relationship between Lilith and Lord Vale felt so real and despite it being a slow burn in a short book, it still worked out perfectly for what the story needed. The aspect of human and vampyre working together to cure a disease made that love story build up so natural, nothing was rushed or seemed unrealistic (in regards to what is realistic for this book and this world). I just loved this one, in my heart, Carissa Broadbent can do no wrong and I loved this as something to keep us going before the release of the next piece in November! I’m so ready
