This is the best of the series thus far. I have loved them all but this one had me on the edge of my seat with the overarching storyline. Meph and Iris have so much baggage and they have to learn to heal themselves. The way they see each other allows them to see themselves differently and finally make strides to their own goals and hopes. It is a really beautiful love story. The tension of the rogue demons and the forces of hell that are still looking for them was strong in this book. I am so excited for the rest of the series. Aurora Ascher is an author to keep an eye on as her writing style is unique and really works for these types of stories.

This was an extraordinary read that had me hooked from the start!
This is the first book I read by Aurora Ascher and it definitely won't be my last. I have been wanting to read this series for a while and I'm so glad I started. While I haven't read the previous book in this series yet reading this book didn't make me get lost in the story on the contrary is making start reading the previous book ASAP, because these demon brothers are hot as hell

I loved it. This is the third book in the series and I recommend reading them in order.
Tropes and vibes
- enemies to lovers, friends with benefits
- Iris realizes she is in love with Meph pretty quickly, I love that this was not a slow burn!
- so so spicy š¶ļø
- Meph is the sunshine half, but also an artist with a ruthless inner critic
- Iris is the grump who learns to warm up to others
- an adorable hell hound named Faust
- more pet cameos from Grimalkin and Eva's cat, introduced in the previous books (side note: so excited for Raum's story, I think it's so endearing how all the animals gather to him)
In previous books I was shipping Meph with Eva's mom, I think that would have been an interesting alternative to explore.

Demon with Benefits is the third installment in the Hell Bent series, and it centers on Mephistopheles (Meph), a demon haunted by a deeply traumatic past in hell, who masks his pain with humor, and IrisāLilyās twin sisterāa fiercely independent, snarky witch with zero interest in demons or commitment.
Their dynamic kicks off with an enemies-to-lovers tension thatās messy and borderline toxic, but quickly evolves into a no-strings-attached, friends-with-benefits arrangement.
The chemistry between these two was absolutely scorching. The author masterfully weaves monster romance elements into the paranormal framework, creating a tale thatās as steamy as it is emotionally resonant.
Their fast paced tale was emotional, and humorous, with sharp, witty banter and character growth that was really well done. The secondary characters added so much to the story and I really love the relationship dynamics among the brothers.
This was the perfect balance of spice, snark, and soul and if you're a fan of paranormal romance with a monster twist, this oneās a must-read.

Narrated by Kirsten Leigh, the audiobook brought the story to life with energy and emotion. While the female character voices occasionally lacked consistencyāand the Irish accent faded in and outāit didnāt detract from the overall experience. The narration still captured the essence of the characters and kept me hooked from start to finish.

The emotional rollercoaster that was this book. I was waiting to see the real Meph hiding behind all the dumb jokes and 13 yo boy attitude. I loved the character development of both him and Iris. Super excited to see where the plot goes with the stolen book and Murmur's role.
I jumped between the audiobook and the ebook and really enjoyed both formats.
Thanks to the author, the Net Galley and Kensington publishing for the ARC. All comments are my own.

Meph is 100% my favourite MMC so far. He's felt the most demon-y yet and the way his demon form was described was really cool, exactly the kind of vibes I hope for when reading about demons. Iris was also my favourite FMC, though I did like her significantly less than Meph. And the spicy scenes between them? Yum!
Like the last book, I'm excited that we're getting further into the lore of this world. It seems like things are starting to really pick up with the Hell politics, and I'm kinda hoping that we're going to see Lucifer make an appearance soon. He's being dangled in front of us as the Big Bad, but we have yet to see how actually bad that is.
