Fiery witch 🧙🏻♀️ meets broken demon 😈—and I devoured every page. 🔥
📖 Demon with Benefits by Aurora Ascher
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶🌶🌶🌶
This book continues from book two, now focusing on Lily’s twin, Iris. She’s torn between her dormant powers and a burning need for revenge. Meph, on the other hand, is a recently escaped demon unable to shift into his full form because of his haunted past. What starts as sharp-tongued bickering between them soon turns into undeniable attraction, and their “friends with benefits” arrangement quickly becomes something deeper. But as their pasts collide, they’re forced to face truths that could either break them or bind them forever.
I loved everything about this book. Iris is stubborn, fiery, and angry at the world—but I admired how unapologetically she stands her ground. Meph completely stole my heart; he’s bright and cheeky on the surface, but his shadows run deep, and he channels them into his art. Their dynamic was raw, messy, and real, with arguments that carried weight and intimacy that felt electric. The spice? Absolutely sizzling and perfectly woven into their emotional journey. These characters felt so alive it was like knowing them in real life.
Thank you NetGalley, Kensington Publishing, and Aurora Ascher for this ARC! 💌

Meph has been my favorite since the first book and that definitely didnt change wirh his story. I loved him and his hidden artwork and his sad story. I loved his terrifying demon that also occasionally acted like a scared toddler.
What wasnt super lovable was Iris and her awful attitude. I get it, she went through bad stuff, but so did Meph. So did Lily. And the weird wash between 'i dont care about anything' and 'poor me i dont deserve anything' was so annoying to me after awhile.

This is the third installment of the Hell Bent series where Meph and Iris end up in a situationship. It's a paranormal enemy-to-lovers story, which is part of a series however it can be read as a standalone. This book is the spiciest of the 3 books in this series, so if you like spice and haven't started the series, you are good to just read this book. However, if you start with book 1, then you will get more of a background on the characters. Also, the narrator for the audiobook brings this story to life. With a run time of 12 hours and 24 minutes, you can binge it over a weekend or savor it over a couple of weeks.
Thank you to Aurora Asher, Narrator Kirsten Leigh, RBMedia, and NetGalley for the opportunity to listen to this audiobook. I loved it.

I went into this book with high expectations, which is always a risk, purely on the title and I was not disappointed. This twist on Beauty And The Beast was not only dark and spicy but it was hilarious, the most I've laughed at a book in a long time.
Iris and Meph are polar opposites in how they wear their trauma, which makes their pairing even more delicious, and their healing even sweeter.
The book is part of a series that can be read as standalones and I can't wait to read more about the demonic brothers.

Demon with Benefits was such a ride. Meph’s book has been one of my most anticipated of the series, and it did not disappoint. The banter, the found-family vibes, and the emotional journey were all so strong. The romance was spicy and fun but also surprisingly heartfelt—I really loved seeing Meph’s softer side.
That said, Iris, while she grew on me, is probably my least favorite of the FMCs so far. She’s prickly, and some of her stubborn moments were frustrating. Still, by the end, I did like her with Meph, and their story was worth it.
