The New House

It’s easy to figure out, a little predictable in the WHO and the WHY but still recommend. Even though you kinda know where the story goes, you still enjoy the ride. It’s worth it!

Only read one chapter and couldn’t do it. The main character was weird-the house thing? The daughter’s name? No thanks. Feels like the author is trying too hard to be “different”.

This book was wild! The ending was insane. I loved the characters despite not really connecting with any of them. The plot twists were suspenseful and crazy!

This story was insane!!! This book was a study on psychopaths and their inability to empathize while weaving a twisty tale of murder and deception. LOVED!!!!!

At the start of this book, a character mentions a statistic that roughly 10 in a thousand people are psychopaths. So what are the odds that a few of them will meet, become friends, and at the same time have one goal: to buy a house? Well, this was one exciting read on Valentine's day. Dark, suspenseful, and mysterious, with a crazy twist at the end. It manages to hold my interest. The tension, the drama, the characters, the murder—all executed in pages that simply fly by at a breakneck speed. Enjoyed!

Three couples: Stacey and Felix, owners of the Glass House. Millie and Tom, have long wanted to buy the Glass House. Harper and Kyle, are eager to purchase Millie and Tom's house. What happens when things don't work out the way you want?
Stacey is a famous tv host, but her marriage is not what it seems. Harper is a popular internet vlogger with dreams of moving up in society. Millie has always wanted to own the Glass House and is willing to do anything to get it.

I really enjoyed Stolen, by Tess Stimson, so I was excited to read this newest one from her. It definitely did not disappoint. I enjoyed the different points of view, and especially the "SET Talks" chapters. Learning the inner workings of a psychopath's mind was interesting. Every single character is absolutely crazy and you're left wondering how it's going to end. It was one absolutely twisted story. There is quite a bit of violence detailed in the story, so be prepared.
There were a couple of things I felt were left somewhat unresolved, not major plot holes, but left me wondering what the point was for having mentioned them. Overall though, this was an absolute thrilling read!

Thanks to Netgalley and Avon Books UK for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for my honest review!
