This book started off so bad. Awful. The characters were bland and there was no plot.
On page 50? Where. Is. The. Plot.
I was annoyed and wanted to DNF.
But then I was suddenly 50% in and everything started making sense. There was a plot afterall.
This is such a mind-bending psychological thriller following psychopaths and diving into what makes them.... psychotic. I had my suspicions of who the bad guy was, but I was wrong. However, this story was predictable, so I was not shocked with who the bad guy ended up being.
My main reason for 3 stars, though, is the ridiculous, over the top, super dramatic ending that had no business being that way. You definitely have to throw all plausibility out the window with this book. Still not sure if I loved that or hated it.
Overall, this was an OK read. It's fast, so if you're intrigued by psychopaths and 3-sentence summaries of books, go for it. Read this. In the end, it was enjoyable.
