Throughout reading this book I put in my mind that I'm going to rate it with only 3 stars, as I really felt bored with all the political stuff in the book, but suddenly Christie decided to blow my mind with the real crime plot at the end of the book!
I'm so glad I didn't give up on it!

This is the perfect mystery for those that dread the dentist, as even the famed Hercule Poirot hates attending the dentist. Luckily for him, and the reader, his dentist is murdered! This is probably Agatha Christie's most complex novel. It features a triple impersonation and a complicated murder plot with its beginnings in the distant past. The novel turns on the identity of a dead body, but it is a tantalizing, rather than aggravating question. The only aspect of this novel that does not ring true it, ironically, the nursery rhyme in its title. It is strained, unconvincing and, apart from the all-important shoe buckle, the rhyme has little or no significance other than providing chapter titles. Otherwise a fun and light cozy, perfect for Christie fans or those just dipping their toe in the Christie pond.
