I adored this book. It was full of love, adventure and wisdom. It was hopeful and encouraging. A joy to read.

“It’s fascinating, isn’t it, how, when someone tells us something about ourselves— good or bad— we try so desperately to prove them right”.

I have never been so mesmerized by a novel until this one. My breath was taken away from start to finish.

The way I could relate to most of the characters made me feel like home.

Thank you, Lori, for creating this beautiful novel.

“They say time heals all wounds…”, “I can profess it’s not time but love that heals”.

While the first half of this book was a bit slow for me, the second half captured me. There were many beautiful quotes about life and how to best live it, and I really liked the messages about family and being true to yourself. Poppy was an incredible character from the beginning but the last quarter of the book she really grabbed at me emotions. This story will be on my mind for a while!
