4 Stars. This review is for the novelette “Sarcophagus” by Ray Nayler. The writing was terrific. Very descriptive and tense. I really enjoyed it and I will definitely have to check out his novel “The Mountain in the Sea”.

standouts: sarcophagus was excellent

other favorites: the field tiger, catching the k beast

ouroboros had a very interesting concept though i'm not sure the execution lived up to the premise. carapace felt like it ended a little too abruptly; i wanted some spooky bug horror! communist computer rap god was, unfortunately, not to my taste at all
