An absolutely swoon worthy love story with a cast of so many friends and family! It felt deep, rich and emotional and ever so lovely!

This was a great continuation of the Brown sisters trilogy! I loved learning about Dani and seeing how different she is from Chloe. Their grandma and experiences affected them differently.

I really enjoyed how different Dani’s story was and how she never strayed from herself and her ideals.

What the fuck. Is Talia Hibbert the queen of romance? I think she might be. The romance is believable and there is chemistry and it’s hot. I love her characters… I mean… a bisexual sex loving witch?! A romance reading Indian rugby player?! Fake relationship? Plants? Goddesses? Career focused woman? Fuck I love it.

While I could see glimpses of myself in all 3 Brown sisters, Dani resonates with me most of all. Reading about — a confident woman who is so often full of self-doubt and fear, the girl who was always smart, nerdy, and preferred books and learning to building relationships with people growing up to be the academic chasing her phd dreams, the witchy woman with wild and shocking hair — was like looking into a mirror. This book was sweet and sexy and funny. The characters are relatable and loveable. The plot is believable and best of all it’s a friends to lovers trope instead of enemies to lovers! All the romance tropes are silly to me, but Hibbert can do them all well, and this novel is no different. Finally, the spicy scenes didn’t let me down, either.

Fantastic, beautiful love story. I really wish that the author acknowledged that all of Dani’s oddities are due to being slight on the autism spectrum. Regardless the book handles Dani’s peculiarities with care and respect and Zaf does a great job of making Dani feel both seen and loved.
