I’m between a 3.5 and 3.75 but I’m going to the higher end actually changed my mind while writing the review.

The spicy scenes are definitely spice.

The book though is a bit too long and dragged at the end yet also the ending felt very rushed.

I wish there was more character development with the evil friend I am totally blanking on his name. Like he just seemed pure bad and I didn’t really feel for his character even when Stas was saying he was good. He fell flat for me. Actually all the characters fell a little flat I think I’m going to drop by rating down to 3.5. All the characters seemed all good or all bad there wasn’t really an in between. Or at least any discussion of an in between, like Nathan was very controlling at points.

If you like spice the book is good for that, nice quick read. Will probably read this author again. Not a top romance author like Emily Henry but still enjoyable to read.

The amount of nicknames and duo pov makes it hard to follow sometimes. Especially if you did not read the book for a few days. Sex scene was ok. Not as graphic as what I thought with all the TikTok hype.

Parts of the story made me so angry though. Definitely check your triggers. It’s not that graphic when it comes to triggers, but would be nice to know. TikTok didn’t say anything about those…

Loved this! Not overrated in my opinion. Enemies to lovers, reverse sunshine x grump, spice, dual POV and more! A must read for romcom lovers. Loved the supporting characters and (TW) the authors inclusion of mental health/disordered eating was not overpowering but added to the story. A must read!!

icebreaker 4.75/5

i went into this book, thinking it’s another overhyped booktok book… but it wasn’t
icebreaker is not only a true wattpad story with a lot of smut. it also has depth. a storyline. LOVABLE characters.
the ending was a bit hectic and too perfect, but the rest of the book evened it out.
this book made me horny, lovesick, giggly, feel butterflies in my stomach and made me smile 24/7!
so excited for wildfire tho!
