Entertaining and an easy read. Only qualm is there are a lottttt of characters which made it confusing and tricky to follow at times.

A wild ride. Not something I normally pick up but it was fun. If you're into straight people romance and book boyfriends then this is the read for you.

If at least 100 pages of sex and partying were cut out, maybe this could've been a decent romance. There were actually some interesting plotpoints and the love interest was not toxic at all, which is probably the reason I actually finished this one. It feels very juvenile and I'm obviously too old to read college romances, even though I'm only 25.

Also, I hated the epilogue so much, I don't understand why romance authors think this always has to be a happily ever after, even when the character actually expressed they don't want it earlier in the book.

The book ended up being more deep than I anticipated (I thought it was going to be extremely fluffy with how it started). I could relate to a lot of the pressures Stassie was facing and have been in toxic relationships like she has. I was more invested with her than I anticipated.

HOWEVER - the college relationship felt so college to me, it was sometimes hard to get through their hot and cold. The last fourth of the book was not it (I hate ending a book not liking it as I had when I started). The epilogue was just awful and gave me the ick.

Also, 3.5 🌶️

I liked the plot of this book and the overall storyline, however, the prose seemed juvenile, and it felt like there was too much information to keep up with throughout the story, especially with the side characters. I did enjoy the ending, and i felt that the book improved as it went on. Overall a fun and lighthearted read.
