I read this when I was 16(?) and I liked it then. I re-read it now and I still like it. However, it's not the best book and it was mid at best. A nice introduction to spice, maybe, but not a staple in the bookshelf.

The characters were quite juvenile. The only one I truly enjoyed was Henry and I just love him.

Overall, a nice read when you're bored.

I thought about just giving it 4 stars bc it’s more 4.5 vibes. I hate the epilogue. Those tropes …YAWNNN. The entire book was really good though. it had me gagged and the turns were unexpected so I SUPPOSE if we close our eyes at the epilogue, it’s a 5 star.

there is a shocking lack of romance in this romance book; i would honestly class this as more on the erotica side. very little romantic tension and almost no plot in that regard. not to mention the use of the pet name "bub" which icks me out on an unbelievable level. this book was also very obviously written by someone who was not american and had a very minimal understanding of US college athlete or frat culture so it often left me a bit... "disorientated" when things didn't add up and kinda ruined the immersion. the figure skating stuff was also pretty rough but i expected that. wouldn't recommend for romance readers, anyone who went to college in the US, or figure skaters.

I liked the representation this book had but the writing and general lack of plot was not my favorite

I sat on this and sat on it and it was so good! The personal growth was great. I loved the relationship growth and the candidness in which the characters called each other out on their BS.

It was good.
