I would not say this book was great, but it was enjoyable, and what more can you ask from such a book?
I blame Logan Lerman for all my Percy Jackson-fangirlness. And it's simply because the movies haven't reach to where Nico appears... Anyhow! it's fun to see how Percy, Jason and others were plot of something bigger, when we thought that Gaea was that big! I know, bad pun, whatever.

It is an interesting change from his other books with the main character being an arrogant ass. AMAZING narration. His voice IS Apollo. I hope they don't change the actor. I will die. The character development will be interesting. I assume Rick will do great job (if it isn't too cheesy). I wonder how kids feel about all of the pop references and if it feels overwhelming.
Loved it though! Love the callbacks so far. Love the haiku as chapter titles. LOVE THAT MY BOY LEO IS BACK!
