Clearly a talented artist, Thorogood cycles through various styles and scenarios to portray someone with a great number of mixed up feelings bouncing around her head. Documenting real life can sometimes be ugly, and while the prose and presentation sometimes left me wanting for more, it’s undoubtedly raw and unfiltered and leaning into the familiar mechanisms the author has used to cope.

I thought this story was clever. I loved the art style. It was funny and endearing. I’m glad that the story was cathartic to someone. Although the story wasn’t too moving or deep, it still inspires me to do the same with my work.
