I didn't care how the book would end, which is not a good sign. But unlike most boring books, this one didn't make me dnf it, so 3 stars instead of 2.
Also it was so bleak. So sad., I hate this stuff.
Using the word 'hope' in the last sentence doesn't make a book particularly hopeful.

It's a predictable book, but even though you know where the narrative is going, you still get apprehensive and a lit bit anxious for the characters. The short chapters keep you going at a fast pace, as well as the multiple POV. On the whole, it's a beautiful book about the importance of nature and the works of family dynamics.
3,5/4 /5
definitely, a book worth reading. It says a lot about the problem which is the lack of bees and I actually enjoyed the technical part so much, I love the vision of the world without bees and I can actually imagine this as a real problem. Also last few pages were my favourite part, unluckily because for most of the book I didn’t really like the characters (expect for Charlotte and Tom, please protect them)and seeing both William and George caring only about their jobs was making me so mad ,, anyways. The book itself is written really well, but I didn’t feel the connection with characters which shouldn’t happen. Oh, I also liked how their lives were related, even though it was kinda obvious, but it wasn’t the main problem. Main problem was showed perfectly, especially the struggles with it.

Couldn't connect to the story somehow, the storylines were swapped too frequently in my opinion.
