the whole book I felt like "literally shut up. there's no way" but in the worst way possible.

how did they get married one day after Iris finding out who she was writing to?

be soooooo serious rn. their banter wasn't good,

mom dying was like....okay? why does it matter? she sucked anyway

, the war portion was bad, the world building was worse. i only finished it because 2 of my friends gave it 4⭐️ and recommended it, otherwise it would've been a dnf for me. sorry not sorry

The way I devoured this book in two days. Initially, I wasn't sure about it, but it hooked me. The romance was great; The world was great. It was very easy to follow along with the world's magic and the lore it included. Not to mention the short chapters. and Roman and Iris's relationship. I love love it. It was such a good fun read.

I don’t care about the romance
I’m way more interested in the world building but based on what I’m seeing, the focus shifts to the romance in the second half and I really don’t care about Iris and Roman

Maybe I’ll try picking this up again in the future
