This book was different than what I expected - I thought it was going to be a haunting with a twist, but as I started reading I started wondering if the ML was actually being haunted by his dead wife, or if it was all in his head.

The book was definitely interesting, I’ll say that. It had its gory moments but nothing too extreme (in my desensitised opinion lol) and definitely had a good few disturbing moments. The book is mainly told from the POV of Allen, the MC and abusive dickhole. It was interesting to read a book form the POV of an abuser and as a result there was a lot of misogyny in this one. People with DA triggers beware - it probably isn’t the book for you.

I was surprised how disturbing the book got at times, but it was never too much for me, and was definitely a fun read.

It was perfect, there are some typos and missing words in the book and the writing style was a little simplistic at times, but I liked the concept and I got it on KU so I can’t really argue with that

I found the plot interesting, however I was disappointed with how it turned out. There are so many errors throughout the book, such as missing words, or words spelt wrong. I liked the ending but was a slow burner for me

You need to drop everything and get your hands on THESE GHOSTS BLEED by Christy Aldridge because this book, this dark, vile, psychological mess of a book is fantastic!

This book is about Allen Gordon and his doting wife Anna. Anna loves Allen. Anna would do anything to make Allen happy. But Anna’s love is never satisfactory enough for her despicable husband. So Anna decides she no longer wants to live. After her death, Allen discovers his wife wrote books, really good books. So he decides to publish his wife’s writing under his name and steal credit in a personal act of vengeance for her keeping secrets and leaving him behind. But Anna won’t take this disrespect lying down, not anymore, not in death.

This book is the epitome of “hell hath no fury like a woman scorned” and I loved it. As a reader of horror, there’s nothing like the gratifying catharsis that comes with a ghost’s vengeance. Prepare for violence, paranoia, a loathsome antagonist, and a fearsome woman from beyond the grave.

(TW: domestic abuse, child loss, suicide)

This was twisted and I loved it. The horror! All month long I've been waiting to read something like this for fright fest. Allen is an unbearable narcissist but you're supposed to hate him so much you can't stop reading so you can see him suffer. The cover is also stunning. So creepy I was publically reading it in obvious way to scare random strangers on the train.

So slow with little payoff. The book is in need of a good editor.
