Oh, I do love the Bridgerton Family! Each story is a wonderful romance with plenty of drama. A nice touch of steam to keep things naughty! Love this whole series and the epilogues!! And that Lady Whistledown is a hoot!! Such wonderfully engaging characters! Makes me wish I could be transported to that era!
Although it was lovely to see Hyacinth and Gareth very much in love after 20 years, I was a bit disappointed with Isabella. The ending was sweet though

If only these epilogues were free or 99 cents I would feel more comfortable in giving them a higher rating. But, as always, I find myself forking over $1.99 and then reading a pretty sweet little story that feeds a little of my Bridgerton family addiction. Only at the end of the story I feel a little hollow inside for having spent $1.99 for a story that takes me all of a half an hour to read. Very disappointing! And yet, each time I find myself clicking on the BUY icon and starting the process anew. To get to the commentary of this epilogue though -- This was very sweet. Very short, but very sweet. At the end of It's in His Kiss Isabella had found the diamonds that her mother and Gareth had been searching for for the six years they had lived in the St. Clair residence. To be honest, it was mostly Hyacinth who was doing the looking. Isabella didn't know anything about this mad search, though, so she kept the secret of her discovery to herself and went on her merry way. That was how the main book ended. It was a little disappointing to read this, but upon further reflection it really made sense in keeping with the personality of the characters we got to know in that book. Spoiler ahead -- In this epilogue another nine years had passed. At least, I think that it was nine years -- Hyacinth had been looking for those jewels for 15 years, and now Isabella is 19. Isabella still had not told her mother about her discovery because she still didn't know what her mother was looking for. In this epilogue Isabella finally figures out what has been going on for all those years. She is a smart young woman, and instead of just handing the jewels to her mother and explaining that she has been holding them all these years, she puts the jewels back in their hiding place and lets her mother continue her search. Eventually Hyacinth gets her prize, and it was a sweet thing to read. I especially loved seeing the love that still existed between Hyacinth and Gareth. It is even sweeter, I think, than what was shown in the main book. I believe that might be because of all the years that their marriage had lasted. Seeing them still have such affection for one another was nice. So, this was a nice little epilogue. I was happy to have read it. I just wish it was better priced. Oh well! I knew what I was getting into, and I still paid the money, so I only have myself to blame. Love the Bridgerton stories!

This short 2nd epilogue continues Hyacinth’s story as she searched for the hidden mystery from the book. It was fun but not as good as book 1’s 2nd epilogue.
Plot: 3.25/5. This wrapped up the story well although some of the plot with Isabella was not my favorite. I did like to see where they were many years later.
Pacing: 4/5. It was average. It was short and moved quickly enough.
Character Development: 3.5/5. I thought it was nice to see how Hyacinth’s daughter Isabella turns out. I would have liked more connection to the other Bridgertons like in other 2nd epilogues though.
Overall Rating: 3.5/5 stars. It was fine and a good end to the story.
Mood: romance, fun, happy
TW: sex & nudity (more than previous 2nd epilogues)

*SPOILER ALERT*

This was honest the cutest second epilogue I’ve read so far. I loved the relationship Isabella and Hyacinth had.
