I liked this book. But...well...it didn't quite measure up to the others in the series. The storylines were good, just slightly flat.

Another solid Women's Murder Club novel. The focus in this novel is primarily on ADA Yuki Castellano who is trying a rape case, and also on Sgt. Lindsay Boxer, who is investigating murders of homeless people. Cindy and Claire make appearances, but their role is very minor in this story.
I love the short chapters and the fast moving pace of these books.

Reading a Women’s Murder Club book is like slipping on a comfy pair of slippers. You know exactly what you’re getting with the characters you love. Another great book by James Patterson - bring on number 18.

This is the first time I’ve listened to a James Patterson audio book. It was different to picking up a book and reading but I enjoyed it. I enjoyed being able to read wherever I was whatever I was doing.

James Patterson’s style of short chapters really works for me and this book was no different.

I am a huge fan of the woman’s murder club series and this book didn’t really disappoint. The only reason I have knocked off a star is because I’m finding the series to be predictable but this could be because I read a lot of them during 2021. I’m going to take a break for a while from the woman’s murder club series I think and come back to it later in the year. Hopefully I’ll find the stories less predictable. Other than this I enjoyed the read or rather listening to this book.

Typical WMC book. Fun, quick.
