𝗧𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀:

I definitely enjoyed this book more than the first one. It was fast-paced, the stakes were high, and Jack’s “touch her and die” energy was absolutely everything. The slow burn finally started burning, serving all the tension, yearning, and banter I crave in books. Simply a 10/10.
With that being said, I do wish Evangeline had matured a bit more in this book. She was still so naive, constantly jumping to ridiculous conclusions and letting her emotions guide her instead of logic. Jacks was literally showing her exactly who he was through his actions, yet she kept fixating on his words. I guess that's part of her charm, but it could be annoying at times.
I really hope we see more of Lala and Chaos in the next book. Jacks, Chaos, and Lala completely own me.
