WHAT AN ENDING. I’m so glad I’m reading this series after the whole trilogy is out HOW WOULD ONE WAIT!! I don’t know with what PATIENCE I will read the next book like… the contens of it will be TORTURE!

Okay, I see the appeal of morally gray love interests. The problem isn't that villains are terrible love interests - the problem is I haven't seen it done well before. Jacks is a terrible person but such a swoony love interest and why is that the case? There's magic in this book and I don't know how else to explain it.
Im loving this twisted fairy tale world. I was so eager to see what happened next the whole time and despite it all, I love how strong and hopeful Evangeline stayed. She's perfect and she DESERVES a happy ending. I can't wait to read the next book and see if her fight for it pays off.
